Elephant On Elephant Off begins with two sky-blue elephant slides
in Foshan. One is newer and built for safety; the older one looks more
recognizably like an elephant, but its entrance has been sealed.
The hollow passage inside the trunk remains.
From this cavity, the work moves through playgrounds, bathrooms, hospital rooms, repeated gestures, and the sound of a mother checking whether a door is shut. Sky blue migrates across architecture, uniforms, glass surfaces, screens, and memory.
The surface keeps being repainted. The hollow underneath does not disappear.
Through poetry, translation, and performance, the work listens to spaces that can no longer be entered, asking how rooms and objects might continue carrying voices after access has been closed.
I raised my phone, then lowered it. I pressed my hand against the elephant's outer wall as though it were an ear.
Nothing could enter anymore, yet the vertigo kept carrying my time backward.

《象开象关》始于佛山的两座天蓝色大象滑梯。一座较新，为安全而设计；另一座更老旧，看上去更像一头大象，但入口已被封死。
象鼻内部中空的通道仍在。
从这个腔体出发，作品穿行于游乐场、浴室、病房、重复的身体动作，以及母亲检查房门是否关好的声音之间。天蓝色游移于建筑、制服、玻璃表面、屏幕与记忆之中。 表面被不断重涂。下方的空洞并未消失。
通过诗歌、翻译与表演，作品倾听着那些再也无法进入的空间，追问房间与物件如何在通道关闭之后，仍能继续承载声音。
我举起手机，又放下。我用手掌贴紧大象的外壁，仿佛那是一面耳朵。
再没有什么能够进入，而眩晕却一直将我的时间向后拖曳。
