Untimely

Untimely is a poetic moving-image work composed through the
re-editing and transformation of found footage. Fragmented text,
repeated letters, distorted urban imagery, and disrupted rhythms
produce an experience of time that stutters, loops, and folds back on
itself.
Images of Times Square return upside down, yellowed, stained, and warped by water. Clocks, serpentine forms, halos, and recurring letters surface and dissolve like corrupted memories.
Once associated with hyper-visibility, the city becomes a damaged screen. Light no longer clarifies; it flickers, stains, and decays.
The work stays inside this distortion, where language and body repeatedly break apart and reassemble.

《非时》是一部诗意的动态影像作品，通过对现成影像的重新剪辑与转化编织而成。破碎的文字、重复的字母、扭曲的城市影像与中断的节奏，共同营造出一种时间体验——它磕绊、
循环，又折返自身。
时代广场的画面倒转、泛黄、沾染污渍，因浸水而扭曲变形。时钟、蛇形线条、光晕，以及反复出现的字母，如腐坏的记忆般浮现又消散。
这座城市曾与过度可见性相连，如今却成了一张受损的银幕。光不再照亮，而是闪烁、浸染、 衰变。
作品驻留于这种扭曲之中，语言与身体在期间不断破碎，又不断重组。
