Created for the Kitchen at the Dutch Art Institute’s
December 2024 Confluence in Nida, Lithuania. The work is guided by the question:
“Why do I dye my hair green in Europe?”

au-to-to-my is a poetry publication and performance apparatus in which language, images, and printed pages circulate between bodies. Digital bears leak neon wounds; bodies dissolve into Dutch archives, where scars are tagged, indexed, and measured. Choly and Melan drift through clouds of probability, while censored words cast shadows beneath white tape.
Passed from hand to hand, the booklet becomes a performance in its own right. Each page enters circulation as a fragment; each poem opens a space that turns but never settles into home. Across these pages, a green swamp of untouchability begins to surface—a space where even digital bears might relearn hunger beyond supermarket logic and recycled desire.
